Cinnamon "La Canela" is an LA-based Latin singer and Salsera, multi-instrumentalist, and Latin percussionist, dedicated to elevating the human experience through music and connection. Born in The Bronx, NY, she proudly calls California home, where she continues to inspire through her artistry. Based in the nostalgic Cartoon Network building in Burbank, Cinnamon blends the vibrant sounds of salsa, jazz, gospel, and inspirational music into her work. A graduate of The Herb Alpert Music Academy, she’s not only a dynamic performer but also a curator, mentor, and philanthropist. She leads the Burbank Summer Concert Series, directs the Los Angeles Children's Choir, and is deeply involved in philanthropic work in Puerto Rico through Worship Puerto Rico, a nonprofit dedicated to disaster preparedness. With 25 years as a nurse, Cinnamon approaches music with the goal of healing and transformation. Whether through performance, teaching, or giving back, her passion for music and its power to uplift shines through. When she’s not writing songs or practicing her instruments, you can find her enjoying a sweet sunset with a cup of Cafecito, letting the simple joys of life fuel her creativity.
